Mudrarakshasa: The Signet Ring

Chanakya has toppled the Nanda kings and crowned his student Chandragupta. One enemy still stands: Rakshasa, the Nandas' unbreakably loyal minister, now raising an army of kings. Chanakya doesn't want him dead. He wants him on his side. A lost signet ring, a letter with no name and three stolen jewels set off a game of spies in ancient Pataliputra where every move is a trap. Adapted from Vishakhadatta's Sanskrit play Mudrarakshasa, following H. H. Wilson's 1835 English translation (Select Specimens of the Theatre of the Hindus). An AI-made anime adaptation: AI-generated art, animation and narration, English.
